Silent Hill Tattoos

I'm thinking of getting one. Of the save symbol in Silent Hill 3. Halo of the Sun, I think it's called? I don't remember titles really well.

Does anyone else have any? What are they of?

A cross between a nurse and a My Little Pony, on my left shoulder. It is about 5 inches from top to bottom, full color and shading. I love it, and it has started some interesting conversations with other fans when I am out and about.
There could be some really fun ways to do the Halo of the Sun. Blake (Sin_Discarnate on Twitter, if you want to see the photos) has some great Silent Hill tattoos, and he is always game to talk ink. I will try to get him on here.
I've considered getting the wall of saves from SH2 done...

These are some questions you'll want answered by the time you get to the shop. It'll be easier for the artist to know what you want. It sounds cool, I'm all for it! Be sure to show us when it's done!

It'll be on my left shoulder, red, and small. I'll have to take out a washable pen and a ruler to see exactly what diameter I want it to be. I've heard that bony places actually hurt less, and I want it to be in a place that's easily concealable because of employers and my mother. (My mother isn't going to like that, but too bad, lol)

Really, it depends on your pain tolerance. I can say that if you are ticklish, stay far far away from ticklish areas. I have a huge tattoo down my left side from my ribs down to my hipbone, and I seriously spent the whole time trying not to giggle hard enough to cause weird lines and bleeding ink. As for bony vs soft, I didn't really notice a difference.
Also: Not sure if you are a girl or a guy, but girls should be careful about putting shoulder tattoos directly under bra straps, or you will need to cover it with a breathable dressing every day or wear racer/crossback bras.
If you find a tattoo artist whose style you like, you can throw them a concept and they can give you an awesome, one of a kind tattoo. Look at a coupe of sketches, make it your own, and have fun.
Big reminder: You get what you pay for. When in doubt, use the slightly more expensive artist with consistent results over the one that promises to do it cheap.
