Henry Townsend

What do you think of Henry?

He's actually one of my favorites. I have my own little headcanon that he was abused as a young child and that's why he's so quiet and under-reacts to everything and kept to himself even before Walter kept him locked in his room. (Though I suppose the technical, behind-the-scenes reason is that he just has a terrible VA, but I prefer to make up in-universe reasons for stuff like that.)

It does say he keeps to himself.



I wasn't bothered that Henry wasn't so developed because the game was not about Henry, it was about Walter. I felt Henry's role was more of the unfortunate observer. Honestly I would have liked to see more from his character, but it didn't keep me from enjoying the game.

Same. But it's partly because of there being so much room for interpretation that I like Henry so much. He can be almost anything I want him to be.

Good character. The Room is great story-wise and has a very interesting cast of characters.

Henry was an empty character which actually made it easier to relate to him.
I liked the way he was trying to help everyone. Though I thought he needed few better voice acting moments.
